Homeowner, Jasmine, experienced sagging floors in the kitchen and living room for about a year. It was time to get the issue fixed because she was concerned about the safety of the floor and further damage to the home. The unlevel floors were causing cracks in the walls in the corner of the door frames.
In the crawl space, we installed and 8 ft supplemental beam, along with two SmartJacks and 52 ft of sister joist. SmartJacks adjustable steel columns that lift and stabilize sagging floors. They are attached to the floor joists and adjusted to push the floor up to its level position.
These solutions provided Jasmine with a safe, level floor. They also assure no further damage to wall around door frames. The lifting of the floor to level position even improved the open crack in the wall.

Smart Jacks and Cleanspace System
The Walkden Family contacted our office concerning unlevel floor in one part of the home and also the interest in a vapor barrier for the crawlspace. Upon our inspection we advised that a couple of piers under the home had settled due to moisture-water issues in the crawlspace. Mr. Anthony Futrell and his foundation crew installed 2 smart jacks in the floor problem area. We also installed a cleanspace system with sani dry dehumidfier to help keep moisture and humidity out of the crawlspace. Very satisfied with the results and advised they would be returning customers.
