Photo Album: Taking Care of High Moisture Level in Wilmington, NC
Betty contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair after being told that she had high humidity, moisture and a mold problem in the crawl space of her home from her termite inspector. Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair inspector RJ Bailey met with Betty to go over the crawl space of her home. RJ found that she did indeed have a high humidity and moisture issue and that the best way to lower these would be to install the CleanSpace Encapsulation System. By installing the CleanSpace Encapsulation System, we are able to seal off the crawl space from moisture entering from the ground and added a dehumidifier to remove the moisture from the crawl space and wood. By lowering the moisture and humidity we are able to cause the mold to become inactive as mold needs a relative humidity of 60% or high to thrive. Betty is happy that she called a knowledgeable company like Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair to help with her home.
Lowering Humidity
By installing the CleanSpace Encapsulation System we are able to lower the relative humidity under 55% making any mold in the crawl space inactive.
Adding Additional Storage to the Home
The CleanSpace Encapsulation System makes the crawl space a useful part of the home by allowing the crawl space to be transformed into additional storage.
Cleaner Crawl Space
When our crew installs the CleanSpace Encapsulation System they remove the debris out of the crawl space making the area as level as possible for an attractive crawl space.
Creating Continuous Air and Moisture Barrier
By installing the CleanSpace Liner over the foundation walls and floor we are able to create a continuous air and moisture barrier.
