Photo Album: Fixing a Nasty Crawl Space in Morehead City, NC

Nicholas contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair because his older home in Morehead City, NC had several problems. This older home had HVAC problems that he needed to fix but kept putting it off due to all the fallen insulation, broken bricks and leftover plumbing and electrical scraps. He previously had a vapor barrier installed but said it was more for show than function. Along with all those issues he wanted an alternative to fiberglass insulation so that in the winter he would not get the winter drafts on the floors of his home. Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair inspector RJ Bailey met with Nicholas to find the best solution to fix his crawl space. Our crew lead by Jason Hines installed the CleanSpace Encapsulation System. During the install process, they cleared the crawl space of the falling insulation, removed all the debris and sealed off the crawl space with the CleanSpace Drainage Matting and 10 mil CleanSpace Liner, to insulate the crawl space they installed the SilverGlo Insulation Panels which is also a radiant barrier and installed a SmartSump and Sedona Dehumidifier. Nicholas is happy with the CleanSpace System that Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair installed. Now he has no problem crawling into his crawl space.
