Photo Album: Fixing a Smelly Crawl Space in Washington, NC

Carey contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair after suspecting that she had moisture issues in the crawl space from the musky smell penetrating the home. Due to open vents and moisture entering the crawl space from the ground this Washington, NC crawl space needs serious help ridding the home of the moisture.  Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair inspector Andy Pittman met with Carey to go over the crawl space and a step by step detailed plan to rid the home of the moisture and prevent further problems to the home caused by the excess moisture. Our highly trained and efficient crew lead installed the CleanSpace Encapsulation System. They started the encapsulation off by removing the old and wet fiberglass insulation from in between the floor joist, next they installed the SilverGlo insulation panels to move the insulation barrier from the floor joist to the outside walls as a more cost-effective way of keeping the HVAC system work at top performance, next they installed the CleanSpace Encapsulation Liner and installed the Sedona Dehumidifier and Smart Sump system.  Carey is extremely pleased with the work that Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair did. The musky smell is gone and she is saving money each month on her heating and cooling bills.
