Photo Album: Getting Rid of Problemic Crawl Space with CleanSpace in Wilmington, NC

Susan contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair concerned about a moisture problem due to mold growth in the crawl space of her home in Wilmington, NC. Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair inspector Justin Edwards met with Susan to go over the crawl space and find the best solution. Justin found that Susan's problem was caused by water entering into the crawl space from open vents and from the earth's ground. The best solution to fix her issues and to reduce the mold would be to install the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System along with spraying a treatment of Mold-X2 Mold Spray.  The Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair crew led by Larry Eldridge installed the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System first by removing the old fiberglass insulation that was between the floor joist. Next they racked and leveled the ground and installed the CleanSpace Drainage Matting, installed the SilverGlo Insulation Panels and sealed the vents and wrapped the piers. Finally, they laid the CleanSpace Liner on the ground and fastened it to the foundation walls. After installing the liner they installed the Smart Sump Sump Pump System along with the Sedona Dehumidifier. At the end of the project, they treated the wood with the Mold- X2 Mold Spray to ensure that the crawl space was free of any mold or mildew. Susan is thrilled with the work that Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair did to fix the home.
