Charles contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair concerned about high moisture levels and rising humidity in the crawl space of his New Bern, NC home. Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair inspector Andy met with Charles to go over the crawl space of the home to find the best solution to fix his issues. Andy found that the problems with Charles's home were coming from the earth's ground and the best solution would be to encapsulate the crawl space with the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System. Our crew installed the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System by first removing the old insulation and vapor barrier, next they installed the SilverGlo Insulation Panels on the foundation walls and laied the CleanSpace Crawl Space Liner onto the ground along with sealing it to the foundation walls and wrapping the piers. Next, they installed the Sedona Dehumidifier and Smart Sump System to help protect the crawl space from moisture.
