Challenge

Homeowner, William, has standing water in his crawl space. Water in a crawl space raises moisture and humidity levels which can leads to costly damages.

Solution

We fixed the issue of standing water in the crawl space by installing a crawl space encapsulation system, as well as a TripleSafe sump pump and StarPipe drainage system.

A Starpipe® Drainage System is used when groundwater needs to be collected and directed to a sump pump. It's unique star-shaped design securely holds the fabric sleeve in place, helping prevent dirt and debris from clogging the system while efficiently channeling groundwater away from your basement or crawl space and into the sump pump for removal. These systems will pump water out of the crawl space out and away from the home.

The encapsulation process includes fixing groundwater leakage, isolating the house from the earth with CleanSpace liner, sealing all vents and outside air leaks, and dehumidify the air.
