Challenge

The subfloor had a large area near the front of the home where the structural framing was wet and deteriorated. The wood was rotten, making the floor soft and unstable to walk on.

Solution

We completed a subfloor removal and replacement with 60 ft of sister joist and 8 ft rim board replacement. We provide a plywood underlayment. Now the homeowner has a subfloor that is safe and supported by the new joists, and can have top flooring installed.
