Cheryl contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair concerned about windows that would not close properly and doors that would not shut fully. Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair inspector Ben Daniels met with Cheryl to go over the crawl space of the home. Ben found that Cheryl's problems were coming from a moisture issue that had started to deteriorate the wood that stabilizes the flooring of the home. We installed the CleanSpace Encapsulation System to prevent any further damage from occurring along with the SmartJack System to stabilize and lift the home back to level. By installing both systems we can protect the home from any future damage along with fixing the home where the door and windows shut.

This home in Jacksonville, NC was experiencing sagging floors due to high moisture levels. Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair crew led my Anthony Futrell installed our SmartJack System under the home a few weeks before another crew came in to install our CleanSpace Encapsulation System. This customer is happy to have her floors fixed along with high moisture level gone.

Sinking crawl space piers caused the floor above to sag and cracks to form in the walls. The SmartJack System will straighten and strengthen the bouncy, uneven floors to a level position and prevent further cracking on the walls. 

The layers of soil beneath your foundation can loosen, shrink, or wash out, causing your home's foundation to settle and crack. Some symptoms of a foundation problem are easy to spot - such as a large crack - while others aren't so obvious.

We installed our foundation pier system to stabilize the settling foundation, which caused cracks and gaps in both the interior walls and exterior of the home. This solution addresses the root cause by providing a solid base, preventing further movement, and restoring structural integrity.
